Job Title: Senior Superintendent - Mission Critical/Hyperscale Data Center Construction

About the Role: We are thrilled to partner with a leading construction firm specializing in mission-critical and hyperscale data center projects. Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to oversee the construction of state-of-the-art data center projects in Illinois.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Manage all phases of data center construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and building regulations specific to mission-critical environments.
- Coordination and Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between architects, consultants, subcontractors, and the client, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Quality Control: Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of construction and operational reliability.
- Scheduling and Budgeting: Develop and manage detailed project schedules and budgets, making necessary adjustments to meet project objectives.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of construction professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in construction management, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role, specifically in mission-critical or hyperscale data center construction.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations, particularly those relevant to data center construction.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with large-scale data center projects.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Construction Management (CCM).
